Lily O’Neill is on the journey to self-publish her first book, a YA Fantasy Romance, in 2025. For the past two years, Lily has worked to turn her childhood dream of being an author into a reality by studying the craft of storytelling.

In April 2024, Lily decided to document the process of holding herself accountable to publishing her first book on social media, and within almost a year, she has gone from draft 2 to draft 6. Several craft books, two full rewrites, alpha readers, and a professional developmental edit later, Lily is now getting closer and closer to her publishing dream.

In December 2024, Lily discovered she could help others craft their own stories and took a Developmental Editing Class through the Editorial Freelancers Association. After beta reading, gaining skill through editing fellow writer’s manuscripts, the passion grew, and now she is taking clients.
